Our team
We are about 45 colleagues in Group Finance – covering all activities from controlling to business advisory, reporting, treasury, and tax. You will be joining the Financial Controlling, DK team where we are responsible for preparing and controlling the internal and external financial reporting of the Danish Companies. We are a team of 6 highly competent colleagues striving to do our very best in supporting and advising our shared service center and assisting with IFRS reporting. Tasks and responsibilities
You will mainly be working with reporting and controlling for the Danish companies owned by Demant Group. You can find further information about Demant Group here: https://www.Demant.com/

Working with Demant companies will require you to establish close communication and proactive engagement with the shared service center in Poland, ensuring high quality insights into the financials and analysis on internal and external reporting. You will ensure a solid foundation for business decisions by translating the financials into accurate and timely reporting and insight to management. Finally, having a talent for “working smarter” you will drive improvements in the financial consolidation and reporting process across functions, countries and organizational layers and develop smart solutions leveraging available IT tools.

The tasks of the Financial Controller will among others consist of:

  • Participate in and ensure strong monthly financial reporting for your areas of responsibility
  • Participate in and ensure strong monthly financial controlling for your areas of responsibility
  • Participate in preparing the annual reports and assist the auditors in the audit process for the Groups Danish entities
  • Participate in defining and drive projects from end to end with the purpose of continually improving reporting and ensuring compliance
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and Group accounting guidelines

Your toolbox
You have a MSc in Business Administration & Auditing, Finance, Accounting or similar and a minimum of 4years of experience from an international auditing business and/or from controlling in a international company. Furthermore:

  • You have experience with consolidation principles, controlling, and reporting processes, plus solid accounting and IFRS skills.
  • You are a pro-active user of IT/accounting systems and have hands-on experience with financial consolidation system, particularly SAP BPC experience is useful here.
  • Your mindset is data-driven with strong analytical and numerical skills and interest in automation and improvements of processes and reporting. All in all, you make the complex simple in respect of processes, tools, and communication.
  • You have excellent communication skills in both verbal and written Danish and English.
