As our new Corporate Financial Business Controller, you will be joining a great team of dedicated and professional finance colleagues. You will work out of our Headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark.
Apply all your controlling, reporting and communication skills through others
As a Corporate Financial Business Controller of Ambu’s global R&D function you will be point of contact for our Chief Innovation Officer, R&D line managers, project managers (PMs) and our Project Management Office (PMO) on topics ranging from financial reporting, compliance, cost control and analysis, planning, modeling, master data management and support among other things.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
Excellent analytical skills and expert in Excel
To succeed in this position, we expect you to have sound analytical skills within financial information. Furthermore, you hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field including accounting, finance, economics and business systems, just as you have 5+ years of relevant experience in financial controlling. It is an advantage if you have project controlling experience and/or change management.
Due to the nature of the tasks, it is prefered that you are an outgoing person and that you can work with people from different cultures. As our new Corporate Financial Business Controller, you are dependable and well structured, just as you are an expert in Excel and delivers high quality in your work. You don’t have all the answers to the challenges you will face, but we expect that you will be eager to learn and grow your capabilities with the company.
Since Ambu is a global company, it is a requirement that you speak English fluently. Some of the systems you will be operating in are in Danish and therefore it is a necessity that you also understand Danish.

As a Corporate Financial Business Controller of Ambu’s global R&D function you will be point of contact for our Chief Innovation Officer, R&D line managers, project managers (PMs) and our Project Management Office (PMO) on topics ranging from financial reporting, compliance, cost control and analysis, planning, modeling, master data management and support among other things.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Financial controlling and review of monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Take part in preparing and ensuring high quality in financial budgets and forecasts in IBM Cognos TM1
- First line of support to the CINO, R&D line managers on accounting policies, compliance to IFRS and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with PMs and PMO to ensure timely, accurate and continuous improved R&D project costs, reporting and project master data
- Work closely together with stakeholders in driving change management of processes, methods, systems, reporting and governance.
- Work with Finance Accounting in preparing accruals and cost control in ERP M3 Infor and Medius.
- Take part in automize and standardize reporting based on data cubes and PowerBI in close corporation with BI department
- Work with and develop various cost models, investment scenario planning and ad hoc analysis in Excel
