We currently offer an opportunity to join us as a Senior Financial Controller based in Broendby (Greater Copenhagen). The Controller will be part of a Nordic finance team but with focus on Denmark and is responsible for ensuring high quality within financial controlling and for the continuously improvement of finance processes for the Danish entities.

In the coming years the Nordic finance team has some major business transition projects ahead; which includes optimizing and transforming financial processes and organization, and further developing the internal controlling framework and digitalizing processes.
The finance team is characterized by having a strong team-spirit, experienced employees, and good collaboration and support, with the emphasis on strong performance. The work environment is informal with close support and interaction with multiple stakeholders across the Nordic organization.
The Controller will be working with financial controlling in a highly business oriented context with the follow main responsibilities:

We imagine that you are a Senior Financial Controller with strong analytical skills and an audit mind-set who is ready for the next step and who brings the following:

The Controller will be working with financial controlling in a highly business oriented context with the follow main responsibilities:
Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports (IFRS)
- Ensure effective, accurate and timely reconciliation of the company accounts
- Monitor internal controls and analyzing KPI’s
- Lead annual financial audits, external and internal
- Provide support for in time issuing the annual statutory financial statements (DK GAAP)
- Improve accounting and compliance related processes
- Support on tax matters such as VAT and corporate tax reporting
- Participation in various improvement projects
Collaborative Controller with an audit mind-set
We imagine that you are a Senior Financial Controller with strong analytical skills and an audit mind-set who is ready for the next step and who brings the following:
- Degree within Finance or Accounting and professional experience as an Auditor, Senior Accountant or Financial Controller in an international company
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting processes and ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
- Experience in cooperating with outsourcing partners, is considered an advantage, as the daily bookkeeping is outsourced
- Fluency in English required, Danish would be a great advantage
- Experience in SAP and preferably in SAP BI and OneStream, but not a requirement
- Experience with IFRS, DK GAAP is a plus
- Capable of operating in a hectic environment with many stakeholders
- Skilled at optimizing processes
- Strong skills in Excel
