Drive the simplification and alignment of global best practices

You are entering the team at exciting times where transformation is taking place. Finance is undergoing a changed structure supporting an increased global approach throughout Nilfisk. All finance functions in local markets are in process of being built into one global finance organization working with golden processes.

Together with the team, you will be responsible for the financial reporting and controlling of Nilfisk subsidiaries globally, IFRS compliance, Internal controls, and many ad hoc tasks. The team is currently in the process of updating the group reporting/compliance manuals, rethinking the internal controls reporting and supporting with relevant tools to lift the reporting and documentation to the next level. Joining the team now, means you could really make an impact in these areas. The team reports to Head of Group Financial Reporting.

As our new Group Financial Controller, you will get the opportunity to work with financial reporting in a listed company and financial controlling in a global company with the full value chain, from development to sales. You will act as financial partner to several international stakeholders being responsible for the consolidated financial reporting and compliance.

To accommodate a close relationship with the Finance Managers around the world, you get the opportunity to travel approx. 20 days yearly.

Auditor with strong business acumen ready for the next step

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have professional experience as an Auditor from one of the big auditing firms where you have been working with large international preferably listed companies for the past 3-5 years. Maybe you have already spent a couple of years as Group Financial controller.

Further, you have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong IFRS understanding
  • Strong accounting understanding and ability to analyse financial reports
  • Knowledge of monthly, quarter, and yearly reports
  • Experience within consolidation and internal controls
  • Good skills in Excel, and preferably user of consolidation tools
  • Fluency in English, verbally and in writing

You are structured, you question the status-quo and you are motivated by driving changes. You are flexible, open, and able to interact at all levels in an organisation. Also, you have the unique combination of being a team-player and at the same time you can make independent decisions and act independently.
