Financial Controller, Nordic sales
Controlling of international entities in global leading company
We offer an opportunity to join us as a Senior Financial Controller based in Broendby (Greater Copenhagen). The Controller will be part of a wider finance team but with focus on the Nordic sales region (Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland), and is responsible for ensuring high quality within financial controlling and for the continuously improvement of finance processes for the Danish entities.
You will be based in our HQ in Brøndby, Greater Copenhagen, and you will report to the Head of Operational Finance who sits in Penrith, UK.
Your new team
You will become part of an international team of 14 finance professionals, working in Spain, UK, Hungary, and Denmark. The finance team is characterized by having a strong team-spirit, experienced employees, and good collaboration and support, with the emphasis on strong performance. The work environment is informal with close support and interaction with multiple stakeholders across the Nordic organization.
Controlling of designated business units, and development of Financial Reporting
In the coming year we have some major business transition projects ahead, optimising and transforming of our financial processes and organisation, further developing our internal control framework.
The Controller will be working with financial controlling in a highly business oriented context with the follow main responsibilities:
Main tasks & responsibilities:
An experienced Financial Controller with great analytical skills
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have 3+ years of experience working in an accounting environment. Further, we imagine that you have a degree within Finance or Accounting, and professional experience as a Senior Accountant or Financial Controller in an international company. Additionally, as our corporate language is English, you must be fluent in English, and a Nordic language would be an advantage.
Further you most likely have the following skills and experiences:
You have focus on collaboration, supporting others, and want to have fun in your daily work. You are flexible, open, and able to interact at all levels in an organisation. Also, you have the unique combination of being a team-player and at the same time as you can make decisions and act independently. You are ready to be part of an experienced team, where you can contribute with and receive learning.

Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Creation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting (IFRS)
- Ensure effective, accurate and timely reconciliation of the company accounts
- Budget and forecasting processes
- Lead annual financial audits, external and internal
- Support to and follow-up with countries on accounting issues
- Support on tax matters and liasing with external service providers for payroll and tax matters
An experienced Financial Controller with great analytical skills
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have 3+ years of experience working in an accounting environment. Further, we imagine that you have a degree within Finance or Accounting, and professional experience as a Senior Accountant or Financial Controller in an international company. Additionally, as our corporate language is English, you must be fluent in English, and a Nordic language would be an advantage.
Further you most likely have the following skills and experiences:
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting processes and ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- It would be a plus if you have experience in SAP and preferably in SAP BI / Analysis for Office and Onestream
- Capable of operating in a hectic environment with many stakeholders
