About the position:
As Group Financial Controller within Corporate Finance it will be your job to take lead in our Transfer pricing processes, and participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process for the group incl. support, guidance and control of Group entities. Furthermore, you must implement the Group accounting guidelines and policies. The goal is to ensure uniform accounting and valuation practice within the Group.

You are an analytical, business-driven and grounded accounting professional who effectively can coordinate and prioritize efforts and competencies both internally and externally in the organization. You have a cultural understanding and are used to taking the lead and embedding functional developments in an international context. You have assertiveness, high self-motivation, and commitment. You are a team player possessing strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture cross-functional teams and relationships both within and outside the tax function.
Preferred Qualifications
You have a degree in business administration with focus on finance and accounting or comparable qualifications (HD-R or Cand.Merc.Aud. - Master in Finance), and preferable previous experience as external auditor.
You have 2-5 years of successful experience from a similar job. Relevant experience in the preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements in international context is an advantage. Experience working with Compliance, Tax and transfer pricing and a knowledge of the ERP system IFS would be desirable. You have good excel skills and must be fluent in Danish and English in spoken and written.

Your role will include:
- Ensuring a group compliance related to the above areas incl. relevant internal controlling, defining, and monitoring key risk areas and governing a model that maintains, reviews and controls the defined area.
- Managing relationships with external partners incl. partners of outsourced services
- Identify and communicate issues that may surface from business operations with respect to a legal entity’s transfer prices and any other continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen Semco Maritime’s overall transfer pricing framework.
- Working with group tax strategy and Transfer Pricing process, Tax Planning, Tax Compliance and Tax Audits.
- Digitalization with the aim of bringing the company to next level of reporting.
