Georg Jensen is looking for a dependable and service minded AP Controller in the Global Finance Department located in the beautiful HQ in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. The team consists of approx. 16 employees and you will report to the Head of Accounting.

The role

The position is an opportunity to perform services both in the Accounting department and the other departments in HQ, including invoice handling, expense reports and travel expenses etc.

The criteria for success in this position will be a constant flow of handled vendor invoices and expenses with the correct account numbers, VAT and taxes, so that we can book according to law and accounting setup.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for and the daily handling of the electronic Supplier Invoice Work Flow in GJ A/S
  • Handling of Purchase Orders / Invoice matching
  • Supplier Balance reconciliations and various balance reconciliations
  • Travel Expenses in electronic work flow
  • Maintenance of Supplier Master Data
  • Close cooperation, training and support to the internal departments and with external suppliers
  • System maintenance and improvements in cooperation with IT department
  • Process optimizations and projects
  • Delivery of work tasks to two student assistants assigned to help out part-time

Your Profile:

The ideal candidate has an essential understanding of bookkeeping and possesses an ambition to provide excellent service both to internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate has the following competences:

  • Experience from a similar position in an international environment as AP Controller
  • Self-starter who strives for constant improvement and learning
  • Structured and responsible approach to the responsibilities with a positive and flexible mindset
  • Strong team player with a friendly and service minded attitude as well as being able to work independently in own area of responsibilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results
  • High Danish and English proficiency, with strong skills in both written and oral communication
  • Relevant educational background
  • Knowledge of Danish VAT regulations
  • Good IT skills and high-level knowledge of Excel and Microsoft AX12 incl. electronic Invoice Work Flow and possibly Lazernet.
