Georg Jensen A/S is currently looking for an ambitious Treasury & Accounting Specialist with practical experience within financial controlling and / or auditing and an interest and flair for liquidity and financial risk management to join our Global Finance organisation with reference to the Finance Director.

The Finance team is located at our beautiful headquarters in Copenhagen and comprises accounting for both our HQ and Shared Service Centre (SSC), financial and business controlling as well as the group treasury function.

Your responsibilities:
The position ranges between the areas of treasury management and financial controlling with core elements from both fields and combined assignments.
The assignments in treasury management include (50% of time):
- Liquidity monitoring on an ongoing basis
- Financial accounting of metal supply (gold and silver) including hedging in accordance with financial policies
- FX exposure reporting (currencies) including hedging to reduce risk and comply with Group financial policies
- Prepare external reporting to investor relations
- Prepare internal and external interests and exchange rates
The assignments in financial controlling include (50% of time):
- Prepare consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS and setting the standards for the groups’ accounting policy
- Commentary on liquidity and cash flow for monthly management reporting
- External reporting incl. preparing consolidated financial statements for Georg Jensen A/S and the other Danish entities in the group
- Prepare and ensure effective audit process on a group level and for the companies managed by the SSC
- Drive ad hoc improvements and projects, e.g. IFRS16
The ideal candidate has the following competences:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience from a similar position working with IFRS and financial controlling with an interest and flair for treasury management or working in a treasury department with experience and interest for financial statements
- A Master’s degree in economics e.g. Cand. Merc. Aud. or secondary HD in Finance / Management Accounting
- Profound business understanding with a true financial mind-set
- Knowledge of AX12 and Prophix is desirable but not a must. Must have solid MS Office skills, especially in Excel
- Ability to work well under pressure and be results oriented
- Team player who is proactive with a high drive
- High proficiency in both written and oral English and Danish
