On behalf of Toyota Insurance Services, we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller with insurance and reinsurance background to undertake the aspects of financial management.
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring utilization of the full economic potential of agreements with strategic partners, within a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
You will perform financial controlling of costs, salaries, income etc. and take lead on implementing new ways of reporting, overseeing the month-end closing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliation. It will also include preparation of consolidated financial statements, financial reporting, and preparation of forecast and budgeting, as well as development of internal procedures.
The Nordic operations include oversight of both traditional Motor Insurance portfolios, as well as Payment Protection Insurance and Warranty schemes.

• Assess external and internal opportunities and proactively help to grow and diversify the income streams and market shares. Your aim is to improve performance and improve upon budget, cost, volume and sales targets in cooperation with the responsive country managers.
• Report frequently internally and externally on budgets and follow-ups.
• Provide insight to fine-tune operational and compliance strategies. Working closely with Toyota, Toyota Financial Services, our Insurance partners and the captive insurance company, to ensure shareholder and stakeholders satisfaction
• Utilise strong communication and problem-solving skills with internal and external stakeholders to maximise business retention and economic opportunities
• Manage adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legal and compliance responsibilities and exceptional standards of business ethics
• University degree in business administration or comparable education
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures within insurance and reinsurance
• Knowledge of project management
• Good analytical skills
• High proficiency in Excel
• Fluency in business English is a must, and Danish will be a plus
