Georg Jensen is looking for an experienced Group Business Controller. Our current employee is pursuing another career opportunity and therefore, this position is available. You will join a large finance team consisting of highly skilled and passionate employees working in Financial Controlling, Business Controlling and Accounting. The position is a part of the Business Controlling team. You will report directly to the Head of Business Controlling and the position is located at our beautiful HQ in Frederiksberg close to metro, bus, and the Frederiksberg Gardens.
The role
The position is a key role within Finance and the entire business as you will conduct financial analysis and support the business with insights from both a financial and business perspective. You will be a key role in the monthly reporting but also in the forecast and budget process as well as projects and ad-hoc analysis. The criteria for success in this position will be the ability to bridge business performance and financial insights.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- The role serves as responsible Group Business Controller for corporate functions and focus areas will be OPEX and CAPEX
- Responsible for overseeing the business and financial operations for the entire Group as well as for specific departments assigned to your area of responsibility
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Analysing financial results, KPI’s, and help identify variances in actual performance versus targets
- Supporting the business functions and channel owners with major development initiatives, preparing of business cases and projects from the financial perspective
- Create, coordinate, and comment the Monthly Management Report in designated areas
- Perform specific, adequate, and timely support to stakeholders
- Drive improvements through feedback, recommendations and sharing of best practices
- Analyse and assess the current control monitoring setup and propose and drive improvements
Your Profile:
- You have a minimum of 5 years of broad-based operational experience within Finance and in particular Business Controlling.
- You have a master’s degree in finance, economics, or similar
- You have the curiosity to understand the business and underlying value drivers
- You are a skilled communicator with a flair for stakeholder management and can communicate complex information to stakeholders
- You have a proactive mindset, with a passion for making an impact
- You are an Excel superuser and have a flair for finance applications
- Business proficiency in English and Danish with strong communication skills
