Georg Jensen A/S is looking for an experienced Accountant for our Shared Service Center, which is a part of the Accounting department in Global Finance. Primary focus for this position will be handling the daily bookkeeping and accounting administration for UK and Sweden. The position will report to the Head of Accounting. Global Finance in Georg Jensen comprises accounting for both our HQ and subsidiaries in the Shared Service Centre (SSC), financial and business controlling as well as the group treasury function. Global Finance employs approx. 15 employees, all placed in the great location of Frederiksberg in Copenhagen.

Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily accounting for Georg Jensen UK and Sweden, incl. e.g. Account payables, Account Receivables, General Ledger, Banks, VAT, Inventory, and all Balance Reconciliations
- Close cooperation with- and support to our sales subsidiaries and with internal and external stakeholders
- Monthly reporting to Global Finance (Controlling division)
- System maintenance and improvements in cooperation with IT department
- Process optimization
The ideal candidate has the following competences:
- Good IT skills and high-level knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Axapta
- Experience from a similar position in an international environment
- Self-starter who strives for constant improvement and learning
- Structured and responsible approach to the responsibilities with a positive and flexible mindset
- Strong team player with a service minded attitude as well as being able to work independently in own area of responsibilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and deliver good results in time
- Good communication skills in Danish and English, both written and oral
- Relevant educational background
