Summary:
We are looking to strengthen our Financial Controlling & Reporting Team with a Financial Controller. You will be joining a dynamic team in our Copenhagen office, reporting directly to Head of Financial Controlling & Reporting. Our work environment is characterized by a high degree of sparing and knowledge sharing with other team members as well as interaction with the rest of Group Finance.

Summary:
We are looking to strengthen our Financial Controlling & Reporting Team with a Financial Controller. You will be joining a dynamic team in our Copenhagen office, reporting directly to Head of Financial Controlling & Reporting. Our work environment is characterized by a high degree of sparing and knowledge sharing with other team members as well as interaction with the rest of Group Finance.
What can you expect in as a Financial Controller at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?
- Perform monthly controlling of subsidiaries
- Point of contact for subsidiaries in relation to Group Reporting requirements
- Perform controller visits
- Review local Annual Accounts for subsidiaries
- Prepare monthly Management Reporting
- Prepare Interim Reports
- Prepare Annual Reports and audit documentation for our Auditors
- Prepare/review Q&A as well as different presentations (e.g. BoD presentation, Investor presentation)
- Ad hoc reviews and analysis
- Be on top of developments within IFRS/ÅRL and other relevant compliance requirements
- Update Finance Manual and Accounting Memos
- Support on ESEF tagging and quarterly submission of Interim Reports/Annual Report to The Danish Business Authorities
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):
- You have a relevant educational background which would most likely be a Bachelor or Master’s Degree, for example cand.merc.AUD, HD(R)), or other relevant education
- You are expected to have 3-5 years of experience as Financial Controller
- You take pride in detail, you are dedicated and meticulous, whenever you take on a project or task
- Working towards deadlines comes naturally to you
- You can see the big picture and be motivated to dive into the details
- Experience with IFRS/ÅRL and creating Financial Statements
- Experience with Consolidation (we use Cognos)
- Strong IT skills and experienced Excel user
- You are proficient in both written and spoken English
