Are you passionate about working with project economy in a fast-paced environment and do you have the skillset required to optimize the project controlling in our advanced production facility in Grenaa? Then this might just be the job for you.
Terma Aerostructures is a leading supplier of advanced and unique complex aerostructures for the civil market and the defense industry worldwide. Terma Aerostructures A/S participates in the world’s largest industry project, the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35) and employs more than 550 employees in Grenaa. During the past few years, we have invested heavily in our production facilities and we are utilizing our production line through both day, night, and weekend shifts.
Due to the high growth over the last years, the complexity in the projects and financial systems have increased and we are therefore looking for a skilled and ambitious Business Controller to help further develop our project economy reporting.
In this position, you will report to the Senior Director of Performance Management and you will become part of a professional and dedicated team, who ensures that our project economy is accurate, enabling Management to make timely and correct decisions.
Main responsibility and tasks
In order to excel with your daily tasks, you will be working closely with the respective Project Managers aiming at controlling and understanding the project economy and identifying measures with the potential of increasing our earnings. To be able to prepare your recommendations towards Management, you will be handling the following tasks:
Your professional qualifications and experience
Considering the level of responsibility and competency requirements for this position, we expect that you have1-3 years of experience from a similar job and an educational foundation as Cand.merc or similar relevant degree within Finance/Economics.
As we are working with vast amounts of data in an increasingly digitalized setup, it is paramount that you are skilled in using financial systems and IT tools in general.
Moreover, you should thrive in working with complex tasks and be a quick learner in order to quickly grasp the developments in both our finance and reporting setup.
Finally, we also expect that you master Excel on a fairly high level, and are fluent in English, both orally and in writing.

Main responsibility and tasks

- Conducting analysis of variances and calculate financial impacts
- Do budgeting and forecasting of project revenue and gross margin
- Handling ad-hoc analysis and tasks
- Constantly seeking for continuous improvement in daily tasks and processes
Your professional qualifications and experience
Considering the level of responsibility and competency requirements for this position, we expect that you have1-3 years of experience from a similar job and an educational foundation as Cand.merc or similar relevant degree within Finance/Economics.
