Do you want to build the finance and accounting function in a software company with ambitious plans for growth? And do you dream of a flexible working day with room for a life in balance? Then you might be our new Finance and Accounting Manager.
Working out of our office in Aarhus, you will play a key role in ensuring the solid economic foundation required for delivering software solutions that make a real difference to leading companies within pharmaceuticals, industrial manufacturing and more.
As the finance function has been handled by an external partner until now, you will be our first ever in-house Finance and Accounting manager. So, if you dream of building your own department from scratch, this is your chance.
You will head up the finance and accounting function in CIM. In the beginning you will rely on the assistance of our external partner, but over time we would like to insource the different functions related to finance, accounting, reporting, bookkeeping, project follow-up, invoicing, salary payments, etc. This means that you will also be responsible for building a team around you with the right competencies for these functions.
You will have full-stack responsibility – economic and financial strategy, budgeting, forecasts, accounting, invoicing, payments, VAT, salaries, etc.
CIM is owned by the Swedish listed company XANO Industri AB, so most of the reporting is done in collaboration with our parent company.
You will be working closely with the CEO, CCO, and the directors in software development.

We are a Microsoft Gold Partner and National Instruments Center of Excellence, and, with more than 20 years in the industry, we dare say that we have more knowledge and know-how than most. The team consists of 50 bright individuals working in our offices in Aarhus, Hørsholm, and Fredericia. About you
We imagine that you
- have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, as business controller, auditor or CFO
- have a relevant degree in financing and/or economics
- possess great communication skills and are a strong team player
- combine business acumen with a secure sense of how best to create value in your work
- can translate your professional knowledge into layman terms
- speak and write English at a professional level
