Responsibility for the accounting area
Visiopharm was founded in 2001 and has since then been characterized by growth. Until now, sales offices (legal entities) have been established in Sweden, the UK, Germany and in North America – and there are more to come. Visiopharm, with its headquarters in Hørsholm, continue its growth strategy, which makes a continuous impact on the financial area/function.
With reference to the Senior Finance Manager you will become a central part of the finance function in the headquarters. You will take ownership of the accounting area being responsible for the financial controlling ensuring that the accounting data is valid and delivered on time. On group level this includes preparation of interim financial statements, consolidation, financial controlling, preparation of annual financial statement, VAT/tax, ad-hoc tasks etc. You are supported by your Senior Accountant colleague, who handles invoicing, debtors/creditors, payroll etc., but you should also – when necessary – be prepared for some hands-on yourself.
Continuing the development as planned requires that the processes within finance are further developed and streamlined across the legal entities. Hence, you will – besides the daily operational tasks – also have a focus on streamlining processes, procedures and working methods to ensure future scalability within the accounting area.
Independent working – responsible, dynamic and proficient profile
Educationally, you have a background within accounting – could be HD-R, cand.merc.aud. or similar. Referring to experience, you have a proven track record within the accounting profession (preparation of month-end closing/annual financial statement, balance sheets, P/L statements, consolidation etc.).
Although, you enjoy working independently, you are also a team-player and ready to take on hands-on work from time to time. Visiopharm is a small organization, why a flexible, proactive and team-oriented approach is required to succeed. You find it motivating to work in a changing organization and you enjoy improving processes. This goes hand-in-hand with your structured approach to work, as well as your attention to details and your ability to get the job done in due time. You master the English and one of the Scandinavian languages on a high level both verbally/written.
