The Maersk Ocean & Logistics Finance BI is building key financial solutions and is looking for a dedicated and high performing Finance Business Analyst for our Finance BI Project team. The project team will deliver New O&L Management Reporting required by business aligned with our integrated Ocean & Logistics business model.
As a Finance Business Analyst you will be responsible for developing Maersk Ocean & Logistics financial reporting solutions, including designing it, possibly prototyping user interface, and subsequently implementing, testing and integrating the components that are part of the solution. Perform the design and test of project requirements. Work closely with the solution architects to ensure compliance with all standards, and that project deliverables are consistent with the agreed scope.

You will report to O&L BI Project Manager working closely with our product owners, senior business stakeholders and across the Finance
function incl. our Global Data Analytics team.
Main areas of responsibility include:
• Hands-on independent resource to work and support on Product Portfolio’s in investigation/exploration, design, development, testing, roll-out and implementation phase
• Deliver full end-to-end process ownership on outcomes from analysis and documentation of user stories to implementation including backlog refinement, prioritisation, identifying and closing gaps
• Managing own business scope (products/outcomes), time management, prioritization (based on impact), planning work
activities efficiently and deliver high level goals
• Collect requirements from stakeholders and translate the requirements to actual development of tangible outcomes
• Actively participate in the global Finance BI community
• Pursue philosophy of one set of numbers
• Establishes the connection between business logic and an effective performance measurement system; including alignment of data processes and semantics to enable relevant data for Management Reporting
• Should be able to think on a company-wide, strategic level with a strong business partnering mindset

You hold a Master's degree in finance, economics, MBA or equivalent combined with 3+ years of work experience in analytical
positions, performance management, finance, management reporting, financial planning and analysis, management and/or strategy consultancy, business development or equivalent.
You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, put well to use in a fast-paced environment and you are highly skilled in Excel,
Power Point; experience in SAP and BI systems is a plus.
You enjoy thinking beyond numbers and combining data with strategy, financial insight and creativity.
You are skilled at building strong relationships with key stakeholders coupled with excellent communication skills.
You have the ability to influence and impact, being a team player with intercultural understanding.
You are fluent in written and spoken English. Danish is not required.
