The role is based in Copenhagen, but the scope is global, and few travel days should be expected.

Key Responsibilities

General bookkeeping and account reconciliations
Payroll accounting and reporting
Month-end process including accrual calculation
Consolidation of subsidiaries and preparation of consolidated financial statements
Internal and external reporting (group, internal stakeholders, etc.)
Day-to-day cash management and bank reconciliations
Processing and payment of supplier invoices, travel expenses and credit card settlements
Master Data maintenance
Coordination of annual audits and statutory reporting
Ensures compliance with documented internal controls, maintaining documented processes, verifying the appropriateness of identified risks and relevant controls to mitigate said risks

Who we are looking for - skills needed

As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:

10 years of hands-on experience in accounting in a similar role
Good knowledge of IFRS and local accounting and tax regulations
The excellent domain of excel and comfortable using BI tools
Experience with one of the Big 4 auditing firms is a plus
MBA, CIMA or CFA is a plus
Detail-oriented, structured and thrives working in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in an international environment with ambiguity and constant change

Good written and verbal communications skills and fluent in spoken and written English
Self-starter and able to work effectively with little supervision
Good interpersonal and collaborative team-building skills.
