The role is based in Copenhagen, but the scope is global, and few travel days should be expected.
Key Responsibilities
- General bookkeeping and account reconciliations
- Payroll accounting and reporting
- Month-end process including accrual calculation
- Consolidation of subsidiaries and preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Internal and external reporting (group, internal stakeholders, etc.)
- Day-to-day cash management and bank reconciliations
- Processing and payment of supplier invoices, travel expenses and credit card settlements
- Master Data maintenance
- Coordination of annual audits and statutory reporting
- Ensures compliance with documented internal controls, maintaining documented processes, verifying the appropriateness of identified risks and relevant controls to mitigate said risks
Who we are looking for - skills needed
As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:
- 10 years of hands-on experience in accounting in a similar role
- Good knowledge of IFRS and local accounting and tax regulations
- The excellent domain of excel and comfortable using BI tools
- Experience with one of the Big 4 auditing firms is a plus
- MBA, CIMA or CFA is a plus
- Detail-oriented, structured and thrives working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in an international environment with ambiguity and constant change
- Good written and verbal communications skills and fluent in spoken and written English
- Self-starter and able to work effectively with little supervision
- Good interpersonal and collaborative team-building skills.
