As Finance Business Process Owner, you will collaborate with Finance and other cross-functional departments within the company to design, implement and monitor efficient and standard processes and control framework. You will be the go-to person for support for the organization with the selection and implementation of our new ERP system.
The role is based in Copenhagen, but scope is global, and few travel days should be expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement financial processes to strengthen control environment and support business needs as well as regulatory and group compliance requirements
- Define process performance measures and target, monitor process performance, identify control gaps and timely implement remediation plans
- Ensure that process maps, standard operational procedures and guidelines are well documented and kept updated
- Own the design, implementation, documentation, assessment and monitoring of the internal control framework
- Responsible for ensuring that the company has adequate controls in place to minimize financial reporting as well as business risks
- Lead the selection and implementation process of our new ERP system
- Collaborate and coordinate with other functional areas e.g., business development, procurement, HR, Tax, etc. while designing and implementation new processes or systems within finance
- Support ad hoc projects, when relevant
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, Auditing or Finance combined with 3+ years of experience working with process design/process mapping.
You have a good understanding of IT and acknowledge that IT is an integrated part of all business processes.
Furthermore you:
- Have a business-oriented mind-set and enjoy taking ownership and responsibility
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across various levels and functions of the organization
- Have excellent verbal/written communication skills and fluent in spoken and written English.
