The Senior Financial Controller will join the Accounting team, which is part of our Finance department maintaining a close relationship with key stakeholders within the organization, especially our Senior Finance Business Partner within the Hotel segment.
The Accounting team consists of seven dedicated people with different levels of skills.
We will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis and we will close the ad once we have hired our new team member. Therefore, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

The key success criteria in this position will be to streamline and automate the processes in the accounting department and ensure correct numbers, creating the foundation for our Business Finance department to make sound financial- and business reporting to our stakeholders
Tasks
Your responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and independently perform month-end closing activities including reconciliations, especially in our Hotel segment
- Financial controlling of the monthly accounts
- Use, improve and/or develop it-systems to automate processes and procedures within the accounting department
- Process owner on Opera (Hotel system)
- Ad hoc IT-assignments (Super user basis)
About you
The ideal candidate thrives working independently as well as in teams in a fast-paced environment
Further qualifications and skills ideally include:
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting
- Proven track record of streamlining and automating processes
- Previous history working in the hotel or events industry, with understanding of industry KPIs and operating procedures.
- Team player with fluent written and spoken English skills
- Advanced user experience with Power BI, D365 and MS Office
