Group Finance Group Tax Global VAT Advisory
Group Tax is part of the CFO area and reporting to the Group Senior Vice President of Group Finance. We cover different functions including Global VAT Advisory, Tax Reporting, International Tax, Transfer Pricing and Structuring.
As part of Group Tax, you will join a team that works with standardising and automating the VAT and indirect tax processes to secure transparent VAT treatment globally across the Vestas value chain.
Responsibilities
You will be part of rolling out a tax engine that automates the VAT determination in SAP across Vestas, and you will work closely with Global Finance on the daily operation of the tax engine after implementation. In addition, your responsibilities will cover:

Group Finance Group Tax Global VAT Advisory

Responsibilities
You will be part of rolling out a tax engine that automates the VAT determination in SAP across Vestas, and you will work closely with Global Finance on the daily operation of the tax engine after implementation. In addition, your responsibilities will cover:
- Support the continuous global roll-out of a tax engine where it is possible
- Continuously monitor and develop the Global VAT control framework implemented in Vestas
- Provide VAT advise in complex transactions supporting new and existing business processes
- Work closely together with the Transfer pricing team to ensure VAT compliance in the Vestas business model
- Assist in managing stakeholders, external consultants, as well as tax authorities
- Assist in VAT Risk Management Reporting as well as ad hoc tax projects within the Group Tax function
- Be up-to-date with developments in relevant VAT legislation and participate in seminars and courses
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant area such as auditing, finance, law, data analytics or similar
- Relevant experience from an audit company, finance or controlling function or a national tax agency
- Knowledge of VAT determination (tax coding) in SAP
- Knowledge of SAP in general
- Thrive in a busy and flexible environment where it is not always possible to predict your work day
- Good skills in collaborating with colleagues across levels and functions
- Strong capabilities in standardising and automating the VAT processes
- Proficient in verbal and written English
