Business Controller in global and market leading Hearing Healthcare company

Focus on Group analysis, -processes and reporting
Group Business Controlling, consisting of 14 employees, is part of the Corporate Finance function based at our headquarter in Smørum. Group Business Controlling is responsible for the overall financial performance management for the Group and the team is dedicated to continuously strengthening its profile, in order to act as a trustworthy and valued partner towards the business.
In the team, there are finance business partners and business controllers primarily dedicated to supporting our five business areas, as well as some with more focus on Group overviews, analysis and reporting.
Your primary focus will be on Group level which includes participation in, but not limited to:
- Participate in driving the Group financial planning process end to end
- Monthly reporting to Top management
- Monthly and quarterly reporting to the Board
- Analysis and preparation of presentations for Top management
- Ad hoc tasks towards Top management and Finance management
- Be a driver on finance related projects
As a part of the team that works on the overall Group tasks and processes, you will work closely with the Finance Business partners on the business areas and the rest of the team, as it is a team effort to bring insights and quality in the reporting and analysis for the management.
The position includes bringing finance business insights from the various parts of the company into solid analysis and reporting on Group level. You make presentations, but also participate in ensuring quality by controlling and analyzing data. You help ensuring that Group processes are optimized and run smoothly. You participate in ad hoc tasks in the team, both on Group level but also in other areas of Finance when applicable.
Further, you participate in the tasks and responsibilities within Business controlling in general such as:
- Reporting, financial analysis and support to business area management and Group Management
- Active participation in general development and maintenance of Business controlling analysis tools and finance models
- Active participation on the group planning process in general
- Participation in cross functional activities and projects
The ideal candidate
You hold a Masters degree within Finance and has flair for IT tools. Preferably you have 2-5 years of experience from a similar or related position with experience in finance processes, controlling and reporting.
As a person you are ambitious and thrive on being close to where the business critical decisions are taken, you have strong financial skills and the ability to understand complexity and create overview of these.
It is important that you have an extrovert personality in the sense that you proactively like to get involved with the business and are good at building relationships in the organization. Your communication skills are excellent and you are proactive and productive in your work.
You will become part of a strong team and it is important that you are a team player, yet you also thrive on working independently. As a person you find it a positive part of the job to be challenged by very high complexity and expectations while also handling a number of routine tasks. You are structured and have an analytical approach to your work.
