Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…be responsible for the monthly department performance reporting and follow up at the Blades factory in Nakskov. You will assist in further development of financial reports for the manufacturing organisation in general, and support on business case development for the factory.
The position is newly-established, so the tasks will be determined along the way in cooperation with you, but amongst other, they will include: participation in the monthly closing process ensuring valid reporting, compliance, and KPI follow-up. As the Business Controller, you will act as a proactive business partner by following up on investments, production, and purchase orders to ensure high data quality and high financial standards.
You will also be responsible for:
Daily financial handling and support to other departments in the factory Drive financial control and optimisation throughout processes Monthly reporting of actual figures vs. budget. Support improvement initiatives on BI-reporting Collect data and support in the budget process Actual cost reporting including variance analysis Create and follow up on fixed assets Collection of cost related to poor quality
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…holds a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree within a financial field. You can either have practical experience within the area, or be newly-educated and eager to take on a position with a steep learning curve. It is important that you have strong analytical and communication skills. You are a team player with a proactive approach towards stakeholders, you are pragmatic in your problem solving, and are ready to apply a “hands-on” approach when your task is executed.
