JOIN US IN THE HEADQUARTERS
We are looking for an outgoing and ambitious Project Controller that has the potential to become a trusted Business Partner within a couple of years. You will support and front the project organization in COWI Denmark and you will hold the overall responsibility for the project controlling within a Business Unit and on specific large projects. You will front the business in close collaboration with other Business Controllers and Business Partners and you will also collaborate with our dedicated Project Controllers from COWI’s Shared Services Center in Lithuania.

Furthermore, you hold a holistic overview of the project portfolio in the BU, while at the same time having an eye for details on specific complex projects and making sure, you get the necessary information through to your stakeholders.
A large part of the role is also to support COWI’s continuous journey in finance excellence and establish Best Practices in project controlling and project business partnering.

In your role as Project Controller, you demonstrate strong integrity and build trust towards key stakeholders. You balance well between details, risks and keeping an overview of project portfolio(s). You communicate your findings in a convincing way, and interact with ease across management, project management and steering group levels. You take ownership and get things done.
Professionally, we expect you to be interested in supporting and developing others as we strive to create and have a collaborating team.

Your professional and personal profile is characterized by:
• a degree on master level in business administration or economics
• newly graduated or 1-3 years relevant experience
• internship or other experience in Finance from a large consulting firm would be an advantage (but not a precondition)
• willingness to learn the fundamentals of project controlling
• strong interpersonal skills to become a trusted advisor for the business
• a strong analytical skillset and an understanding of how to divide problems into relevant parts, securing quality in the details while keeping the overview of the deliverables
• super user in Excel

• excellent communication skills in Danish and English (both verbal and written)
