Based at our headquarter in Odense, Denmark, KOMPAN is a world leader within the playground and outdoor fitness industry and is now searching for a Senior Business Controller, who will be part of the Group Business Controlling team.
KOMPAN is searching for a competent and ambitious Senior Business Controller with a commercial mindset and strong communication skills. With reference to our Group Finance Director, you will be part of our controller team of 6 controllers and be responsible for business controlling and financial sparring with some of the largest sales companies and group functions within the KOMPAN Group. You will enter into a dynamic growth company and a very professional environment giving you the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally.

As a Senior Business Controller, you will have three main tasks:
Your profile
We are searching for a new colleague with a business mind and an insight into accounting. You have a qualifying further education - Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Financial and Management Accounting), MSc in Economics or similar. You have a strong commercial drive and a motivation for creating financial insight. You can demonstrate how you, as a specialist within business controlling, have identified and implemented commercial initiatives in previous roles. As a person, you are analytical and thrive on complexity and independence in your everyday work. You are motivated by the possibility of working internationally, becoming part of a professional environment as well as the career opportunities, KOMPAN is ready to offer you.
You are fluent in English as well as Danish. You will work from our HQ in Odense, Denmark.

Position with great potential
As a Senior Business Controller, you will have three main tasks:
- Firstly, you will have a close cooperation with the sales companies, where you contribute with market and financial analysis, financial support and strategic sparring on business development
- Secondly, you will work closely with the local Finance Managers on the annual financial cycle of work including budgets, monthly reports, etc., and you will be a guarantor for correct and timely financial reporting and controlling
- Finally, you will play an important role in key projects in relation to development, optimization and implementation of processes and /or business development initiatives
Your profile
