In Finance & IT, we are working to optimize the overall value chain in VikingGenetics by ensuring effective business support processes, systems, and compliance. We have initiated a series of initiatives aimed at standardizing, digitizing, and integrating automation solutions wherever possible.

You will become part of Finance & IT with direct reference to the Head of Accounting.

You will become part of Finance & IT with direct reference to the Head of Accounting.
Your main tasks will be:
- Daily bookkeeping in our sales companies worldwide.
- Preparation and quality check of accounting statements and monthly reporting as well as consolidation of the companies in the group.
- Ensure that accounting data in group companies are reliable and accurate so that we continue to comply with Danish and international regulatory requirements.
- Participate in inter-organizational and international cooperation to implement business projects and optimize business processes.
- Group controlling of payroll.
- Help ensure that must-win battles are implemented in the Finance area.
Workplace: Your workplace will be in Assentoft, close to Randers.
Your qualifications:
- You have a finance degree, eg. HD(R) or cand.merc.aud
- 3-4 years of practical experience from the audit industry or controller experience
- Knowledge about Nordic accounting rules, VAT and Tax
- Extensive experience with Navision, Microsoft package and have knowledge with BI tools.
We expect you to have:
- Evident planning and organizational skills
- Prominent social skills and ability to handle cultural differences, internally and externally
- First class communication skills, able to operate structured, professionally, and effectively
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Further language skills will be appreciated
- The ability to work independently taking responsibility for your own task
