Become a part of technology software
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and a world leading supplier of intelligent metering solutions and services. We experience significant demand for our products, solutions and services, where we have a strong focus on developing the most innovative and value-adding intelligent metering solutions and services for energy- and water consumption and was in 2022 awarded with the innovation prize by Dansk Industri (DI). Our ambition is to transform meter data into insights that will help utilities optimize the production and distribution of clean water and energy. We are experiencing great demand for our products and are therefore looking for a Team Lead for one of our software development teams.
With direct reference to our Head of Software Development, you will be part of an international department across Denmark, Spain and Ukraine. In the management team, we strive to have a high degree of collaboration and we value commitment. There is a strong focus on creating a good foundation for development opportunities for each individual and we believe that good results are created in collaboration with skilled colleagues. Together, we have high ambitions when it comes to employee satisfaction and the quality of our solutions. We are constantly looking to develop and improve our way of working and prioritize that our customers are always satisfied.
A job with a focus on management and process improvement
In the position as Team Lead, you will be responsible for 10-15 developers and will be responsible for leading the department's process improvements. You will work closely with the other Team Leads and the department's partners as well continuously ensure a good dialogue between project managers and the Scrum master, making sure the team achieves its goals.
More specifically, your tasks will be:
• Making sure your team members are motivated and help them grow their personal and technical skills
• Develop and optimize new and existing processes within software development
• Support the team in creating high value products
• Daily management, e.g. employee development dialogues, 1:1, recruitment, salary reviews etc.
• Participate in cross-team improvement projects that focus on improving departmental ways of working (e.g. Continuous Delivery and Quality)
Personality is important to us
To be successful in the role, it is important that you have previous experience in managing software developers and testers. It is expected that you have at least a bachelor's degree in software development and a management degree is considered an advantage.
As a person, you are approachable, ambitious and are used to working proactively with everyday challenges. As you will have contact with many different stakeholders across the organization, it is important that you thrive in an outgoing role and have strong communication skills.
Fluency is required in both written and spoken Danish and English.
We offer more than just a job
You will be part of an international company that strives to ensure momentum and optimization of the world's water and energy resources. We offer a professional working environment, where sparring and skill development are a natural part of everyday life. You will get a job where you will have ample opportunity to shape your own personal and professional development through interaction with colleagues inside and outside the department. You will help create the solutions of the future and be involved from start to end when new products are to be developed, that helps to ensure the green transition.
We offer flexible working hours and a host of employee benefits. They include e.g. canteen scheme, fruit scheme, free use of own fitness center, in-house dental clinic, hairdressing scheme and free health clinic. In addition, we have an active employee association.
