Our team
We are about 45 colleagues in Group Finance – which covers all activities from controlling to business advisory, treasury, and tax. You will be joining our Group Financial Controlling team where we are responsible for consolidating the financials from our subsidiaries across the world and preparing the internal and external financial reporting of the Group.

Tasks and responsibilities
You will mainly be working with our consolidations process for the companies owned by Demant Group and William Demant Invest (WDI). You can find further information about Demant Group here: https://www.Demant.com/ and William Demant Invest here: https://www.Demantinvest.com/
Working across the WDI and Demant companies will require you to establish close communication and proactive engagement with the finance departments, ensuring high quality insights into the financials and analysis on internal and external reporting.
You will ensure a solid foundation for business decisions by translating the financials into accurate and timely reporting and insight to management. Finally, having a talent for “working smarter” you will drive improvements in the financial consolidation and reporting process across functions, countries and organizational layers and develop smart solutions leveraging available IT tools.
The tasks of the Group Financial Controller will among others consist of:
- Consolidation of Demant Group and other specific areas
- Participate and ensure strong monthly financial controlling for areas of responsibility
- Participate in developing and maintaining the group’s accounting policies and guidelines
- Participate in defining and drive projects from end to end with the purpose of continually improving reporting and ensuring compliance
- Participate in our development of new controlling concept
- Own and drive IFRS deep dives
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and Group accounting guidelines
- Participate in preparation of the annual report for Demant Group, William Demant Invest and William Demant Foundation.
Your toolbox
You have a MSc in Business Administration & Auditing, Finance, Accounting or similar and a minimum of 4years of experience from an international auditing business and/or from controlling in a NASDAQ/large/medium international company. Furthermore:
- You have experience with consolidation principles, group controlling, and reporting processes, plus solid accounting and IFRS skills.
- You are a pro-active user of IT/accounting systems and have hands-on experience with financial consolidation system, particularly SAP BPC experience is useful here.
- Your mindset is data-driven with strong analytical and numerical skills and interest in automation and improvements of processes and reporting. All in all, you make the complex simple in respect of processes, tools, and communication.
- You have excellent communication skills in both verbal and written Danish and English.

Expected travelling 5-10 days yearly.
