For the right person this job will position you in an already outlined career track. We are looking for the talent that within a couple of years can be the successor to our current Finance Partner of Global Operations and being a member of the global Operations Management Team. Therefore, we are looking for an ambitious business-oriented finance profile, who is ready for an exciting journey over the next couple of years.
Our team
We are about 56 colleagues in Group Finance in total – which covers all activities from controlling to business advisory, treasury, and tax. You will be joining Group Business controlling, and specifically our Business Operations Finance team of currently 8 people. We control the global production and supply chain costs. Besides controlling we make recommendations on how to improve profitability in the future. We are a key contributor in implementing the overall strategy through understanding and optimizing costs.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be globally responsible for cost optimalization and controlling of production cost and freight. Your tasks will require close communication and collaboration with the operation management team and the local finance throughout the world. You will have direct influence on decisions within your area.
Your primary tasks will be, but are not limited to:
- Cost Optimization & Analysis
- Based on Cost Analysis, highlight key focus areas and provide recommendations
- Participating in & leading various optimization projects
- Management Reporting and report out to Management
- Monthly Closing
- Gradually taking on leadership responsibility
You should expect 10-20 travel days per year.
Business Controller with excellent interpersonal skills
The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree within Business and Economics. Preferably combined with experience from a similar position - e.g., as a business controller or business analyst. Your background can also be within finance or business development. You are ambitious and can see yourself on a career track for a leadership role over the next 2-3 years.
As a person you thrive on being close to where the business-critical decisions are taken. You have strong analytical and financial skills and the ability to understand complexity and create overview of these. You have excellent business understanding and an outgoing personality in the sense that you proactively like to interact as a business partner that gets involved in the business. Your communication skills are above average, and you are proactive and productive in your work. Since we are always trying to improve our reporting and looking for new opportunities you must have an innovative mindset and enjoy trying to do things in a different way.
