We are looking for a senior project controller to work closely with the project manager and the full project team to ensure successful projects. Do you have the qualifications to follow up on the economy of complicated projects? Are you motivated by large, complex projects where new challenges arise?   • Work with bespoke projects and has great influence on the waste to energy and biomass plants of the future?

Responsibility for project economy follow-up

You will be responsible for following up on the economy of typically 2-3 of our current and future new build plant projects. The follow-up will take place in close cooperation with the company management, the project managers, the finance department and the other controllers. A project life cycle for a new build plant is 2-3 years. Your work will be an essential part of the success for the final project

Your position will involve, but not be limited to:

  • Supporting the project managers with economy control.
  • Preparing project economy reports.
  • Assessing projects in respect of turnover, contribution margin, cash flow and currency flow.
  • Participating in monthly project meetings, preparing monthly economic follow-ups, and offering input for the preparation of budgets.
  • Ensure risk and contract management.

    You may look forward to a challenging and extrovert position that requires good communication skills, business understanding and a result-oriented job approach. At the same time, you will have a broad contact interface with both internal and external stakeholders as well as great opportunities of achieving greater responsibility and job weight. You will become part of our controller team in either Glostrup or Esbjerg.

    Project controlling experience, drive and a structured approach
    You have a relevant education on a Bachelor‘s level or Master‘s level as well as experience from a similar position, preferably from the energy sector or a kindred line of business. If you have insight and experience with engineering and construction contracts or international projects, this will be a definite advantage. You are an Excel super user, and SAP experience is a requirement. You master both written and oral English.

    It is important that you have a drive to improve the way we work, work in a structured manner and thrive on having a broad contact interface. You always observe your deadlines, and you are open, accommodating and autonomous. Finally, you have solid communication skills and a cheerful disposition.

It is also necessary to have broad, multi-disciplinary experience, strong project management skills, and good empirical designs. By bringing these elements together, we are able to gain the insights needed to ensure the successful completion of today’s sophisticated waste-to-energy and biomass projects.
