Are you highly skilled in all accounting disciplines, preferably within an international organization with multiple subsidiaries and consolidated reporting? Are you a strong leader capable of engaging, motivating, and setting clear direction for your team? Can you balance a focus on stable daily operations while driving the continuous development and optimization of financial processes? If so, you might be the Group Accounting Manager we are seeking for our client in Southern Jutland.
Strengthening the accounting function with focus on processes and efficiency
Reporting to the CFO, you will play a central role within a larger finance team, collaborating closely with colleagues across countries and business units. You must thrive in an environment where ongoing adjustments and optimization of workflows, processes, and systems are integral to daily operations.
The department’s core focus areas include external and internal reporting, tax, VAT, payroll, bookkeeping, and controlling, ensuring a solid data foundation for decision-making. Along with your team, you will support consolidation, management reporting, and ongoing analyses. Your role will be pivotal in managing diverse accounting disciplines across the group’s business units and countries. Key responsibilities include:

A Strong Leader with a well-rounded accounting skillset
You have former experience as an auditor, and you likely have an educational background such as HD (R) or cand.merc.aud., currently holding responsibility for accounting in an international organization. You could also come directly from the auditing industry. Solid expertise in all aspects of accounting, including IFRS and consolidation, is essential. As a leader, you are described as inclusive and empathetic, someone who sets a clear direction for your team with good humor and clear communication. You are tech-savvy, have strong data literacy, and a keen eye for optimization and efficiency. You are curious about improving and innovating processes and approaches. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and quick to identify areas for improvement in processes and systems. Independent and service-minded, you take pride in delivering high-quality work on time while ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed effectively.

- Leading and developing a team of five finance professionals in Denmark
- Managing the preparation of the group’s consolidated financial statements
- Overseeing monthly closing and reporting processes, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Leading Transfer Pricing policies, implementation, and compliance
- Ensuring VAT compliance, reporting, and filing across multiple jurisdictions
- Managing corporate tax processes in various countries, including planning and filing
- Acting as a key contact for external auditors and tax advisors
- Identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
