International Payroll Specialist for FLSmidth Global Services


Are you motivated by taking on the responsibility for payroll administration for our travelling Engineers? Do you thrive in a very international environment, where different nationalities and cultures work together? Are you enthusiastic and knowledgeable about payroll systems and have extensive hands-on experience using and optimizing systems? Then you might be our new Payroll Specialist at FLSmidth Global Services A/S


Your job will be very versatile with a wide range of different tasks within payroll administration, system maintenance and coordination of administrative tasks in the payroll run.

While working closely together with People Experience and the Global Services business unit counting 150 travelling Engineers, you are the one responsible for the payroll run.

The payroll team consists of three employees in Denmark, as well as several colleagues sitting abroad.


Your responsibilities will include: 


  • Perform complete global payroll run in foreign currencies and payout to 150+ employees in LessorLøn
  • Facilitate and coordinate tasks between payroll, People Experience and tax & compliance in relation to Global Services
  • Payroll support, implementation of employee contracts in the payroll system for new hires, changes etc.
  • Maintain and ensure data quality in our payroll and other IT systems
  • Optimize systems and streamline payroll and business processes

You appreciate and understand the value of a coordinating role that works in cross functional areas of payroll, HR, finance and tax & compliance.

As our new employee, you can easily navigate in different systems and tasks, and are known for keeping deadlines, to ensure that every task is finished in due time.

Some of the systems we use are; LessorLøn, Workday, Oracle and various HR administration tools. Maybe you are already familiar or superuser in those systems – but if not don’t hesitate to apply. With the right mindset and a curious attitude, we are sure you can learn your way around these systems.


You master the payroll function and have a structured way of
working
Your educational background could be diverse and within business administration, finance, accounting or HR.

We expect you to have 5+ years’ experience with payroll administration, accounting or bookkeeping. Having solid experience in how to perform the entire payroll run in an international setting with complex payout structures, is very important to be successful in the role. We have different contracts which range from hourly, daily, monthly and project determined rates and that adds to the complexity.

The ideal candidate is interested in contributing to further development and improvement of the payroll run and collaborates with the finance department. You see the bigger picture and understand the processes in order to improve the service to our colleagues.

You are flexible and service minded and love a day where the work environment can and will change. Therefore, you are probably not the type that needs a setting where “things are the way they have always been”.

It goes without saying that you have full proficiency in both written and verbal English and Danish.
