Do you want to use your solid financial insights to become a trusted finance partner to the business? And are you keen on driving the on-going development of financial management in nne? Then you might be our new Business Controller.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The job
As Business Controller, will be responsible for the group budget consolidation and reporting. You will prepare presentations and reporting to Board of Directors and senior management on financial performance and up to date variance explanations. You will drive cost controlling, management reporting, forecasting and create the foundation for decision making. You will be supporting management with ad-hoc requests and in continuing the implementation of a group profitability mindset.
Moreover, you will play an important role in the continued optimisation of our financial processes and reporting by fully utilise our budget planning and BI systems.
The key to succeeding in the role will be to combine strong analytical competences with a solid understanding of the business. You will collaborate with many different people from across the organisation and it is therefore crucial that you are open-minded and have good communication skills.
You will join the Business Controlling team, located in Virum. In Business Controlling we work as trusted finances partner in delivering solid financial insights and accurate reporting that will enable fact-based decisions. We work across the organisation in the leading pharma engineering company in Denmark. We ensure an environment where we focus on continuously improving individual competences through close sparring, frequent feedback and by giving challenging responsibilities to individuals.
Your main tasks will include:
- Drive the planning process, including annual target setting, budgeting, forecasting and coordinating budget meetings
- Provide timely and accurate group reporting to the Board of Directors and Senior Management
- Responsible for consolidation of budgets and controlling of expenses
- Ensure optimal use of the budget planning, BI and group reporting systems
- Optimise financial processes and ensure transparency in performance metrics
- Utilise the BI platform to perform analyse data trends, establish insights to P/L impact and recommend action plans for improvement
Required Qualifications:
Your qualifications
M.Sc degree within economics or finance with excellent results
Minimum 5 years of experience performing management reporting and planning budget processes, preferable with Group processes and consolidation
Strong analytical skills
Excellent excel skills and super user of Budget planning and BI applications
Structured working approach and ability to secure quality in the details while keeping the overview of deliverables
Excellent collaboration skills and able to communicate complex findings in simple manner
You have a strong personal drive and take an active part in teamwork to ensure a good team spirit, knowledge sharing with your colleagues but at the same time work independent
