For our newest Zleep Hotel in Vejle, we are looking for an experienced, skilled and committed Housekeeping Manager to join soon.

Zleep Hotel Vejle is an absolutely fantastic hotel and will open in early November 2022. The hotel will have 124 rooms, including the so-called Zleep Living rooms, which are equipped with kitchen facilities and suitable for longer stays. In addition, the hotel will contain 15 exclusive hotel apartments/suites under the name KIRK STAY, which, in addition to being a more luxurious supplement to the hotel's other rooms, also are intended as a long stay concept, where guests have the opportunity to rent a furnished home and at the same time use the hotel's facilities, such as cleaning, linen service and fitness. The largest suite measures 200m2.

Zleep Hotel Vejle & Kirk Stay is located on Havneøen, which is a new and exclusive urban and residential area close to the center and situated next to Vejle Fjord and Fjordenhus.

We are looking for a skilled and committed Housekeeping Manager with a good personality and lots of energy.

It applies to the position that you can provide our guests with good service – and always with a smile, be committed to your work, and that you are independent, welcoming and flexible. In addition, you have a positive charisma, you are solution-oriented, and then you are listening and honest. The position is a full-time position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating a nice and comfortable atmosphere
• Enable an environment that motivates people to join, lard and do their best
• Oversee a diverse team of well-trained housekeepers by emplowering and sharing know-how
• Ensure that the hotel is clean and clear for all guests (all rooms, the breakfast restaurant, the bar and other common areas)
• Create a positive, appreciative and efficient working day and ensure that everyone works ergonomically correct
• Leading the housekeeping team by example – you will be participating with daily cleaning together with your team
• As a Housekeeping Manager you must also be responsible for proper shift planning, preparation of effective cleaning plans, purchase of cleaning items, ordering uniforms and ensuring thorough training.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a solid experience in Housekeeping and/or cleaning – and perhaps you have management experience, or the natural next step is this position
• You are friendly, pleasant and tactful
• You like providing service and helping people
• You are proactive, do things quickly and correctly
• You are a team player with an eye for details
• You have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
