Make a difference – Take the lead on insourcing and managing cleaning

ALK is on an exciting growth journey and to further strengthen our quality and effectiveness we have decided to insource GMP Facility cleaning. The Cleaning team will consist of 12 employees and you as manager, and report to Senior Manager for Monitoring, Utilities and Facilities, part of Manufacturing Support.

The insourced activities will commence January 1st and consist of personnel formerly part of our external supplier. The team operates mostly from approx. 15-23 Monday-Sunday, but activities are also ongoing during daytime operations.

You will take on leadership to make sure that they will feel and act as a part of ALK and set a clear direction for cleaning activities. There is a need for a manager that can embrace multicultural employees and make them perform as a team.

As a manager it is your responsibility to ensure that the transition from external to internal cleaning will be smooth. Once the team is well implemented you must be ambitious to continuously improve the team and the processes, as there is room for improvement in daily operation.

Your background is indifferent. Your personality and personal skills are not.

It is expected that you have management experience preferably with multicultural employees. You are flexible and able to have oversight of employees on day and night operations. It is important that you have a clear and direct communication with your employees and manage to enter discussions with stakeholders on all levels. You can plan and prioritize to ensure that critical cleaning is never missed or compromised.

You can see opportunities for improvement, can prioritize between them and have the patience as implementation may be long in a GMP- setup. Experience with a GMP-setup is an advantage.
