European Energy is an international company in exponential growth. We develop, build and operate wind and solar parks globally as well as Power-to-X. Consequently, we play a significant role in resolving the climate issues by reducing the world’s CO2 emissions. We are more than 400 employees with 30+ different nationalities employed, and we have installed green energy projects for over 22.5 billion DKK since 2004. We work from our HQ in Copenhagen and our 14 global offices.

As our new Accountant, you will drive accounting processes for all German companies within the EE Group. Besides that you will do business support to other departments in EE and coordinate tasks and topics in cooperation with external accounting/tax advisors, local authorities, and local controllers, as well as our Accounting Department in Copenhagen, Denmark

Areas of responsibilities

• Accounting of German companies in the EE Group
• Daily bookkeeping and bank payments
• Financial reconciliation of accounts
• Period end tasks
• VAT, Tax, and other local filings
• Local Financial Statements
• Optimization of tasks and processes
• Automation projects

Your profile

• You hold a bachelor’s degree within accounting/finance or similar
• You have minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting principles and local compliance
• You have profound skills in accounting. DE VAT and compliance
• You are a superuser in Excel and have solid knowledge of Navision Dynamics
• You possess strong communication skills in German and English

It is important that you have good social, analytical, and communicative skills and are passionate about optimizing current accounting procedures. You are thorough and structured in your way of working and thrive in a high-paced and multidisciplinary environment with high complexity.
