Ambitious Space Company is looking for a Senior Business Controller. For our Finance team, we a looking for a Senior Business Controller. With reference to the CFO, as Senior Business Controller, you will play an essential role in developing GomSpace. There will be a great opportunity to create value for the business and influence the development of the position.

The job includes the following set of tasks:

• Support the budget and forecasting process to ensure accurate financial planning.
• Utilize controlling skills to manage project and production costs effectively, ensuring that financial targets are met.
• Act as a Financial Business Partner to the organization, providing valuable financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Assist in the calculation of business cases, evaluating potential investments, and assessing their financial risks and rewards.
• Assist in month-end closing and analyze deviations to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.

Business Controller with a financial background

Today, you are working in a similar role, preferably as Business Controller, and have a financial background. You are motivated by improving processes to provide transparency, make them more straightforward and faster, and create better data. You thrive in a role as the financial sparring partner for the business.
You probably have an education, such as cand.merc., cand.oecon., HD or similar and have 3-5 years of experience as a Business Controller or Financial Business Partner from a medium-sized or large company and preferably with experience with Business Intelligence.
You have experience digitizing and optimizing business processes and are curious about business. And you have strong developed IT-skills.
