Join a new, international team

Based in Hedehusene Denmark, you will join our recently established BI and Performance Management team. We are an international team of 8 colleagues based in Bulgaria, Portugal, Norway and Denmark. Together with our business units, we are responsible for establishing, prioritising and maintaining business intelligence in DSV Road.

Support the DSV Road strategy through informative BI solutions

In this role, you will be responsible for the concept of performance enhancement and for scaling it across all 35 European countries to include and prioritise the most relevant KPIs for DSV Road. This includes defining – and to some degree developing – detailed reports as a tool for enhancing best practices.

Moreover, your job will have an element of business controlling where you will evaluate root causes of deviations in results and work with Finance, IT and the business in case of data source errors.

Specifically, you will:

• Carry out continuous development of concept for performance enhancement
• Do a regular performance follow-up with the 35 countries
• Define requirements for uniform data registrations across multiple solutions
• Facilitate, define and prioritise reports to be developed in Power BI based on our Legacy and future solution for reporting and create documentation for requirements of reports
• Develop mock-up solutions in Power BI for documentation of requirements and possible solutions

“This is a job with high complexity, partly because our data set-up isn’t fully integrated yet. We’re moving towards the ideal scenario, so it’s all about finding the best solutions as we go along,” says Lars.

Experience in Power BI and performance enhancement

With high complexity comes the need for structure and the ability to see opportunities that may have never been there before. And as we are guiding the business on different scenarios and solutions, you must be a great listener, open and able to collaborate and create dialogue.

Finally, we imagine that you have:

• Experience in performance enhancement and defining KPIs in connected management reporting at various management levels
• Experience in or knowledge of Power BI
• The ability to analyse operational as well as financial data
• Experience with data’s impact on reporting
• Great communication skills – and you are fluent in English
