Right now, Just Eat Takeaway is seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational efficiency and customer experience by analysing data, identifying trends, and providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.

The team consists of two planners who align staffing with demand, while our demand planner ensures accurate order forecasting and courier distribution. Working hand in hand with our business planner, we optimise resources and strategies to ensure daily success and growth. You will be referring to Nicklas Olesen - Supervisor Forecast & Planning.

• Your primary responsibility will be to ensure operational efficiency as well as optimise the customer experience by analysing the data and identifying trends. In addition, you will be responsible for:
• Collect, analyse, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and make data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and technology, to support data-driven decision-making.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business growth opportunities.
• Work on ad-hoc projects that require data analysis and insights.

What do we expect?

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in the takeaway industry or e-commerce is a plus.
