On behalf of our client, FLSmidth, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant to join their Payroll team in Denmark.
As part of the Payroll team in Denmark, your role as a Payroll Accountant is mainly to ensure correct and timely payroll runs in partnership with another very experienced colleague in the payroll team. Together, the two of you will process payroll for approx. 750 employees in Denmark, including Group management, covering 3 legal companies. The team is anchored in the Finance department and the monthly payroll accounting and reconciliation as well as preparation of audit material will also be within your responsibilities.

• Perform payroll run for 750+ employees in the Lessor 4 system
• As the Lessor 4 payroll system will be closed down in near future, you will be involved in the work group dealing with the transition to LessorLøn
• Ensure data quality in global IT systems, Workday and Oracle
• Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations
• Ongoing controlling of vacation accrual calculation
• Act as a backup for your colleague during absence periods
• Relevant education or qualifications within e.g. Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or HR. Both lower and higher levels of education can be relevant depending on your experience
• A minimum of 5 years’ payroll experience from a large multinational organization
• Experience with, or understanding of, accounting and bank reconciliations in relation to payroll
• Experience with Lessor and advanced understanding of MS Excel
• Fluent in English and Danish, both written and orally
