The role
We are looking for the right person to join our Group Finance team of 10 people, situated at CO-RO’s HQ in Frederikssund, north of Copenhagen. With reference to the Senior Director, Group Finance & Controlling, you will be responsible for product master data, inventory reconciliation, standard costing, month-end closing activities, accruals and reconciliation of accounts, reconciliation of excise duties and system improvements.
About the position
- Perform month end closing activities, including inventory reconciliation, handling of prepayments, accruals, and reconciliation of relevant G/L accounts
- Setup product master data in Dynamics 365 and support standard cost calculations
- Daily bookkeeping from A to Z
- Preparing documentation for annual financial audit in collaboration with the remaining team and local auditors
- Respond to accounting related questions and inquiries from our customer service, procurement, supply chain and the organization in general
- Expense management
- Preparation/submission of excise duties
- Optimize internal systems and processes, and putting new ones in place
- Create financial insights to support the business
- Maybe you have experience working with Dynamics 365, Axapta or similar systems
- Ad hoc tasks
Who You are
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with general accounting from either a finance function or an audit company and can work independently with your tasks
- Preferably you have experience from a manufacturing company working with inventory reconciliations, standard cost calculations and Item control
- You are very good within IT-systems (we use Dynamics 365 as our ERP-system) and digitization of processes and a super user of Microsoft Excel
- You are highly structured, disciplined, and passionate about what you do, you are ambitious about your career and fast learning
- You have an ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- You are fluent in English in speaking and writing.
- You have a relevant education in finance, economics or similar
- You are familiar with Danish bookkeeping rules
