The position is with Kassoe Housing, a company specializing in renting accommodations to businesses that have the need to provide housing for their employees for varying durations.
Kassoe Housing was founded in 2018 in Denmark as they recognized the demand for furnished housing for expatriates and employees in the construction industry. The demand for furnished housing increased due to several large projects in Denmark requiring the employment of foreign workers. Employees typically stay in Denmark for an average of 3 to 24 months. Due to high demand, Kassoe Housing quickly became the largest provider of furnished housing in Denmark.
In subsequent years, subsidiaries were established in Germany and Belgium, and in 2023, the company entered the Swedish market through a merge with Stay Central, also known as Misty Morning in Sweden. Together, these companies have over 50 employees with a local presence in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom. Overall, the Kassoe Housing Group manages over 1000 apartments and has an annual turnover exceeding 30 million euros.
Dynamic finance team
As an Accountant at Kassoe Housing, you will be part of a finance team of five, including CFO Robert Kaminski, to whom you will report. You will join a professionally strong team with an informal and relaxed atmosphere characterized by good humor and teamwork, where everyone supports each other.
Responsibilities of the role
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for all activities in Sweden but also provide support with tasks related to other entities within the group. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Daily accounting and registrations
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable / creditor management
- Travel and credit card settlements
- Handling of expenses
- Payroll processing
- Payments
- Various reconciliations and specifications at monthly and year-end closing
- Reporting to relevant authorities covering but not limited to VAT, corporate tax, employees and PAYE taxes
- Various ad hoc tasks
You are expected to have an accounting education or equivalent and bring solid experience as an Accountant. You thrive on working independently and are accustomed to and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where adaptability is necessary. You take responsibility for your tasks and those of your team, demonstrating initiative and proactivity in optimizing processes.
As an individual, you are both numerically and administratively strong. You are meticulous, work systematically, and take pride in ensuring the accuracy of figures. You have a good overview, even when things move quickly. You are outgoing and service-minded, enjoying a broad network of contacts.
