CooperSurgical are constantly growing and they need an extension of their Senior Accountant team. CooperSurgical are therefore looking for another skilled and dedicated employee for our Finance department.
CooperSurgical Fertility and Genomic Solutions it the global leader in IVF and reproductive genetics, providing innnovative products and services for every step in the ART journey. Our Shared Service Center (SSC) is responsible for all transactional accounting activities for out 11 European companies.
The Challenge
You will be part of scoping and managing accounting activities with internal & external stakeholders to meet deadlines. You will work cross the organization and with other members of the Finance department.

You will be offered a challenging job in an international company where you will be part of the Senior Accountant team and you will report to the Manager of Shared Services. The Senior Accountant team is a part of our Shared Service Center which consist of 15 dedicated people – 13 in Denmark and 2 in UK.
Your Talent
You have 3-4 years of experience from a similar position from an international company. You are skilled to work in a detailed and structured manner and have the capability to take responsibility for your tasks and to act proactively to handle the tasks timely.
You are a self-starter and confident to communicate at all levels and you like to work with improving processes. You are flexible, able to juggle several tasks simultaneously, with a good overview and at the same time you have an eye for detail. You are quality oriented and always in search of efficiency gains, where you coordinate and complete full workflow from start to end. You can work independently and as part of a project team and are keen on working in a multicultural environment.
As a person you are ambitious, dedicated and have a passion for numbers. You have an analytical mindset, are systematic, structured, and good at solving problems. You work result oriented, but at the same time positive and with a good sense of humor. Professional English with good verbal and written language skills is a given.
It is an advantage if you have worked in Navision previously, but more important that you strive to get the best out of our ERP system to support and improve our processes.

The Challenge

Among others your task will be:
- Play an important role in connection with the month end close, working with the teams in the Shared Service Center and Controlling
- Be responsible for selected entities of posting and reconciliation of:
- Payroll related accounts
- Bonus calculations and provisions
- Fixed assets
- Holiday allowance
- VAT related accounts
- Accruals and prepayments
- Other review and reconciliations of G/L accounts
- Be responsible in cooperation with local accounting providers of handling of VAT, EC sales list and Intrastat to the authorities
- Transactional review of OPEX accounts
- SOX compliance within your responsibility area
- Ad hoc tasks
