PlayStation Nordic/Nordisk Interactive is looking for a Business Analyst & Planner to join our team in our Copenhagen office.
Nordisk Interactive is the exclusive distribution partner in the Nordics and Baltics for all Sony PlayStation products and a portfolio of other gaming brands. As a Business Analyst & Planner you will be part of the Nordic Sales Planning & Analytics team and play an important role in ensuring the best gaming products are available for the Nordic gamers, this by forecasting and analyzing on our product portfolio and sharing this insight with internal and external key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for this role has a natural interest in gaming and is equipped with solid data analytical skills and the ability to communicate data insights with structure and passion.
Your role: Support the business in making data informed decisions
As part of the Sales Planning & Analysis team, your task is to contribute to being the best partner for Sony PlayStation and our other gaming partners by ensuring accurate and relevant analysis that supports decision-making during sales planning and forecasting. Enable performance tracking by reporting performance back to our partners and internally. You are responsible for:
•Forecasting & Sales Planning
•Reporting & daily operational tasks within sales planning & analytics
•Support data literacy, data insights, and data informed decisions
•Process optimization, new development & project participation
•Maintenance and development of data models and tools
What will you be doing?
•Execute timely weekly, monthly and spot reporting for internal and external use
•Provide data foundation for accurate forecasting and sales budget, incl. cross departmental collaboration to ensure alignment and relevant input.
•Retrieve and analyze data to provide insights for business decisions
•Create and maintain user friendly excel models, dashboards, visuals and KPI analyses incl. use of relevant analytical tools and models
•Coordinate with Sony Interactive Entertainment's Sales Planning & Analytics department
•Be the "go to" persons around data analytics and business insight
•Continuously strive to optimize processes incl. involvement in new development & projects
What we are looking for:
This position requires strong analytical, structural and communications skills. Solid interpersonal abilities are also essential for effective collaboration across various business levels. You might have a background in finance controlling and pivoted to data analytics, or a career in FMCG demand planning. Regardless, we do expect the ideal candidate to have the below qualifications:
•Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and advanced user of the rest of the O365
•Structured border-lining the extreme
•Timely planning under tight deadlines
•Strong Analytical and logical thinking
•Excellent written and verbal communication
•Smart stakeholder management skills
•Curiosity, positivity, and a collaborative mindset
•Team player who also can work independently
•You grasp the big picture whilst managing the details
•Fluent in both verbal and written English, and preferably proficient with one of the Scandinavian languages
•You must have knowledge of the Nordic market and culture
You have relevant academic credentials on bachelor or master level in e.g., Business, IT or Engineering and a few years of experience from a similar role.
