Are you ready for a challenging position as Sales and Marketing Director for a leading manufacturer and supplier to the wind turbine- and oil & gas industries?
Sales & Marketing Director
Your new employer is a heavy industrial company located in West Jutland, with headquarter in Norway and sister companies in Denmark and Lithuania. The company employs approximately 150 employees in total, with main production facilities in Norway and sales and distribution center in Denmark. The Group company who has headquarters in Germany, operates worldwide and employs more than 80.000 people. In your new position as Sales & Marketing Director, you will become a Part of the Management Group and refer to the Board of Director.
Your responsibilities - is to ensure an efficient and professional Salesforce and Internal Sales department, so the customer base can be continuously expanded and segmented in a profitable way. You have to manage and execute the company´s strategy into Sales and Marketing activities, and to develop sales in an organizational perspective for the best benefit and profit of the company.
You will be heading a team of fifteen people in internal and externals sales, with difference locations, and be responsible for ensuring that both the skilled sales team and your own sale are executed in a way that develops and maximizes the whole business.
Furthermore, you can look forward to the following challenges:
Excellence management and sales skills To be a success in this position, we expect you to have strong sales skills and international experience within international sales, preferably from a similar position. Experience from the Wind Industry will be an advantage.
As a leader, you are motivating and trustworthy. You engage and inspire others and build an environment of trust and honesty. Your unique people skills allow you to effortlessly take informal leadership of diverse groups and lead to results - and change if necessary.
You also have the ability to manage people and stakeholders with a cooperative and motivating attitude, but at the same time take decisions, but be clear on needs and directions and to negotiations on a professional level. Ability to analyze data, structure the information, make clear strategies/work procedures and implement within the organization.
We expect you to hold an education within technical, industry or commercial, completed with solid experience from a similar international position. You have been leading an international sales team successfully and understand sales cycle and the parameters and processes for measuring and working with sales excellence. You speak fluent Danish or another Nordic language and English, German language would be a plus. You must be flexible to travel for business, fairs, and internal meeting.

- Responsible for sales and sales budget.
- Achieving sales growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing of the sales team.
- Strategic sales management - build and grow sales pipeline and establish key connections externally to customers and other stakeholders.
- Identifying and developing new and existing customer in all potential market segments.
- Continuously evaluate and improve all processes in internal and external sales.
- Coordinate inquiries and calculate quotes with Pricing Manager and technicians in the organization.
