National Key Account Manager Denmark, PHC

As National Key Account Manager Denmark, PHC at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health Nordics, you will be part of the Pet Health Care (PHC) team. You will have the overall responsibility for the Pet Retail Business including Over The Counter medicine (OTC), and consumer goods in Denmark. You will take ownership of the Key Accounts and Strategic Accounts and be influential in the strategic direction of the assigned customers.
Within the first year, you can experience the position as relatively field-based, oriented towards training the staff at the customers, introduction on new products, close cooperation with the clients and overall visibility in the field.
With direct report to the Market Manager Nordics, PHC.
Your main tasks are:
Your qualifications are a minimum of 5 years of experience working within Sales and/or Retail preferably in the pharmacy segment. Your experience is gained from a Key Account Management position or similar, where you have been exposed to various clients, their needs and belonging markets. You have a valid driver’s license and are fluent in Danish and English, written as spoken.
You have a Graduate Diploma or a Master’s Degree in either, Business Economics, Business Management, Accounting, Financing, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration and/or related fields of study. Practical experience working in a KAM position is most desired.
You are a person with a commercial and analytical mindset, who is able to demonstrate a problem-solving and data-driven approach to all types of tasks that you come across. You have excellent communication skills, are a natural negotiator and manage to present complex data and strategies on an understanding level. You navigate with ease, and are a great motivator for all the people around you, regardless of their function. You have excellent stakeholder management, are a great cooperator and are not shy to challenge the status quo constructively.

- Building sustainable, customer-valued relationships
- Take ownership of yearly negotiations, chain agreements and trade initiatives
- Lead on existing and potential channels
- Training staff at Key Accounts/conducting workshops on the products
- Overlook the Danish e-commerce market
