Job tasks

Your main responsibility will be to deliver on the business objectives in your territory. Using your expertise and knowledge in channel management, you will be growing and expanding the business with your channel partners (2-tier) and it will be your responsibility to prioritize your accounts and the attention given such that the business potential of the portfolio is maximized.

Your workplace is homebased, and you will be reporting to the Sales Manager DACH.

Your responsibilities will also include

  • Promoting and marketing Milestone System products and services within the assigned territory
  • Building, driving, and deepening the relations with both Systems Integrators and Distributors
  • Building, driving, and acting upon business plans with managed partners
  • Engaging and working with local Consultants
  • Engaging and working with large end users through our channel
  • Reporting and documentation in CRM management tools such as SalesForce
  • Participating at events, seminars, and exhibitions
  • Be liaison for the territory to the rest of the organization and vice versa
  • Owning the budget for your dedicated partners
  • Forecasting and planning on a monthly base
  • Living the Milestone core values of Reliability, Openness, Innovation, Flexibility and Independence and maintain the highest standard of professional behavior and integrity

The job requires travelling in the territory and sometimes abroad to other Milestone offices.

Professional qualifications

  • Higher Education preferably with commercial focus and exposure to technical fields
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience, preferably in the security industry
  • Proven sales record and revenue growth driver skills
  • Competent IT technical skills
  • Fundamental commercial and technical knowledge of IT software and/or hardware
  • A goal oriented, sales focused and self-confident profile
  • Willingness to travel, work independently and closely monitor own goals
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Ability to uphold organizational values and high moral standards
  • Fluency in German and English is a requirement
  • Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
