Sales Management - Food and Beverage industry - Native German speaking
Are you an experienced and competent Sales Manager and a people manager with your values in place? Do you possess a consultative approach and have a desire to join a market leading organisation in Germany?

The German sales team of altogether 4 persons is close-knit, collaborative and professional, and represent profound experience and competencies within the markets we service. You will lead, develop and coach the team and drive new business within strategic sectors. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director for Germany, France and UK the Sales Manager for Germany will be instrumental in building and developing relationships with key end users and distribution partners across Germany as well as leading a motivated German sales team.
You will be part of an exciting journey with a well-run organisation that has a clear strategy for growth. As National Sales Manager you will have an important role in ensuring that Vikan maintains and develops our position as the preferred supplier and partner in the German market. You will be working from your home office.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Grow sales in line with agreed budgets and within strategic focus areas
- Lead, develop and coach the local sales team
- Implementation and execution of the sales strategy
- Build and grow strong relationships with key distributors and end users
- Vikan to be the preferred supplier to the defined key national, international and regional Food Groups
- Increase sales activities within the food retail sector
About you
We are looking for a forward-thinking, technology savvy and data driven individual with broad Sales Management experience and a B2B background. You have solid business acumen and are focused on delivering a value adding sales solution to customers. You are a strong and authentic leader with drive, ambition and a positive can-do-attitude.
You have a relevant education and maybe experience from a similar role in an international company. You see yourself as a playing coach, and you have documented experience from the management of a successful sales team. Moreover, your sales toolbox is heavy, and you know how to approach value-based solution sales. Experience from working with distributors will be an advantage. We prefer a native German speaking Sales Manager who is mastering English.
Finally, you are a great and diplomatic communicator with skills and ability to interact at all levels, credible and with a direct approach.
