Husqvarna Professional is a Business Unit (BU) within the Husqvarna Division, aimed at the professional commercial segment for Green Space Professionals & Tree Professionals. This BU is the front-end division of the 300 year-old company. Here focus is on developing creative new solutions – such as autonomous robots for golf courses, and other market pioneering products and services. Close collaboration between the PRO BU and the PRO Partners means that customers receive state of the art professional treatment, when visiting these dealers.
The PRO BU is now looking for an experienced and skilled Sales Manager.
Role
In this role you will be responsible for the country PRO BU’s including P&L responsibility, management of the local sales team and management reporting. Furthermore, you will have a dotted-line responsibility for our shared services, i.e. Business Controlling, After Sales and Marketing, that you will manage in tight collaboration with the local residential BU leader.
You will obtain full responsiblity for strategic change management, sales planning, and implementation of sales activities to meet the Husqvarna group’s targets regarding growth and profitability by developing existing accounts as well as acquiring new professional customers.
In addition, you will be part of the local Husqvarna Division management groups, as well as the local Group Management team (Husqvarna Division, Gardena Division and Construction Division).
As Sales Manager you will also have the overall responsibility for a portfolio of national strategic accounts with whom you build a Key Account Plan to maximize the Husqvarna sales.
You are expected to spend most of your time on meeting, prospecting and follow-up on professional customers/business.
You will report directly to the Regional Business Unit Director, North Eastern Europe.
The position requires ability to travel extensively and from time to time internationally.
Tasks
- Manage the PRO BU sales team on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure continuous communication to regional management.
- Participate in local management meetings.
- Translate sales targets into actions to fulfil business needs regarding sales and service.
- Actively ensure best possible visibility for the brands, products, and services (incl. fairs, training sessions, and demonstration activities).
- Support the Regional Manager with sales analysis and planning to develop the local business to deliver expected profitable growth for the professional business in your given district.
- Provide accurate, up-to-date information in the CRM system on each customer.
- Provide support to the sales planning process.
- Take ownership for all sales processes and ensure that our sales staff follows the Husqvarna Sales Processes.
- Visit end users according to the established Sales Plan regarding products & services and build relationships with key-stakeholders and influencers.
Profile
You are a natural and motivating leader, who focuses on the company targets, and while keeping a strategic overview, you consider the entire value chain. With your outgoing and trust-building attitude, you contribute to a positive and ambitious company culture.
Obviously, you are customer-focused and business-minded and have good understanding of dealing with the different customer channels, product mix and multiple brands.
You know the essentials in the process of running a business within a business, i.e. you have the partnership manager DNA and know that the word ‘together’ is fundamental to achieving real success.
As the purpose of this position is to actively develop and grow the professional sales through B2B sales and PRO Partner sales for the local market, it is essential to fully understand Husqvarna PRO’s brand promises as well as the dynamics of the B2B direct and indirect sales via PRO Partners.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience (Sales Manager for highly technical products).
- Relevant commercial education (B.Sc. level) or experience with proven commercial skills. toward large accounts.
- Experience in a B2B and Dealer-based distribution sales environment.
- Experience in solution-selling of products and services.
- Experience within Green Space professional environment is a merit.
- Interested and knowledgeable of complex products intended for professional use.
- Strong track record of sales with a customer-focused service delivery.
- Fluent in Danish and English.
- Experience in working in projects and complex sales.
- Driving license for heavy vehicles (B/E license in EU) is a merit.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is a requirement.
- Comfortable in fluently using MS Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a merit.
