Area Sales Manager - Food and Beverage industry - Hessen - Saarland - Rheinland-Pfalz - Baden Württemberg
Are you an experienced and competent Area Sales Manager? Do you possess a consultative approach and have the desire to join a market-leading organisation?

In the Area Sales Manager role, you will be instrumental in building key relationships and in the continued growth and development of distributors and end user accounts in West and South of Germany. You will be member of a sales team of altogether 4 persons, collaborative and professional, and represent profound experience and competencies within the markets we service.
For the right candidate, there will be a possibility to hold a KAM function for national German customers and be responsible for customers in Switzerland.

As Area Sales Manager, you will have an important role in ensuring that Vikan maintains and develops our position as the preferred supplier and partner in the German market. You will be working from your home office.
Your primary responsibilities include:
We are looking for a forward-thinking, technology savvy and data driven individual with broad Sales Management experience and a B2B background. You have a solid business acumen and are focused on delivering a value-adding sales solution to customers. Experience from a similar or affiliated industry sector would be highly desirable and must be complemented by well-developed commercial acumen and the ability to nurture long-standing, mutually beneficial business relationships.
You have a relevant education and maybe experience from a similar role in an international company. Your sales toolbox is heavy, and you know how to approach value-based solutions sales. Experience from working with distributors will be an advantage. You're fluent in German and you master English at a high level.
You know how to identify and find new opportunities and your ability to communicate at all levels of the customer organisation is well-developed. You thrive in an environment of solution sales and your focus is on securing the best possible value for the customer.
Living in og near Mannheim, Karlsruhe or Frankfurt a. M. will be optimal.
You will join the German Sales Team and will report to the national Sales Manager in Germany. - Grow sales in line with agreed budgets and within strategic focus areas
- Ensure customer satisfaction through professional sales management and a high level of customer support
- Implementation and execution of the sales strategy and maximize the market potential
- Build and grow strong relationships with key distributors and end users
- Identify the key end users within the area (mainly in F&B and Food Retail)
- Product training for users and distributors – online and onsite
- Follow up on Marketing campaigns including support from Customer Service
