Are you passionate about the shipping industry and skilled in fostering meaningful relationships? SDK Shipping is seeking a Sales Representative based in Athens, Greece, to spearhead the promotion of our ship, stevedore and marine logistics services throughout the Greek shipping sector.As our new Sales Representative in Greece, your responsibilities will be to identify and map the market and thus promoting SDK Shipping services in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean within especially the Greek, as well as the general mediterranean shipping industry. You will be collaborating closely with local stakeholders to identify opportunities for business growth.We are looking for an outgoing person who will find it natural to maintain a strong presence in the market through networking and promotional activities. Throughout your activities you will liaise with our headquarters in Denmark to align strategies and objectives.The ideal candidate: We are looking for a person who is self-motivated and proactive, as the role involves remote collaboration with colleagues based in Denmark. Furthermore, you are tenacious, persistent, and capable of identifying opportunities and providing tailored solutions to clients.Additionally, we expect that you have:
  • Experience in shipping, agency or bunkering.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English.
  • Willingness to travel no less than 20-25 days per year.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and nurture relationships.

  • An established network within the maritime industry is considered advantageous.
